• Please note: The r-directed team holds sole discretion on the onboarding of creators who can showcase and monetize their work via our platform after the requirements for sign-up are met and assessed, prior to final approval. 

• As a standard practice and mandate, please ensure your designs are:
     • Uploaded in RGB or CMYK and the recommended format is clearly specified for printing purposes.
     • Submitted in original raw file formats whether .ai, .psd or beyond.
     • Atleast 300 dpi, high quality resolution to be printable on a wide range of surfaces as per the buyer’s requirements.

• Potential buyers are able to search for your designs through on-site search queries depending on their design goals, visual style, interest, design style, Creator Profiles and beyond that r-directed has created to increase relevance. To further this purpose, it is important that you, as a creator, include the right terminology, themes, and keywords in your design descriptions like Floral, Doodle, Pop Culture, Victorian, etc.

• We prioritise our creator community and have created fair and unbiased workflows so that every onboarded creator on the platform has an equal opportunity to showcase and monetize their work. As a value addition to our creators, r-directed also highlights designs and profiles on the homepage for high-impact visibility for trending designs, designer of the week, and other features.

As a creator, you are free to promote your designs to shop on r-directed.com via your own social media channels or your own website. However, we recommend you conduct your own research, and understand and evaluate the pros and cons as well as the best practices of each of the social media channels you choose to promote your work on to ensure maximum impact.

PLEASE NOTE - r-directed does not permit you to sell your designs listed on our website via any other similar marketplaces or commission-based platforms.

• Your sales earnings will be calculated and paid to you by the r-directed team on a fortnightly basis. You will also receive a report of the sales for your designs via the r-directed website.

The copyright of your designs remains with you, the creator. However, apart from your own website, the designs should be exclusively licensed via r-directed only for sales and monetization. r-directed does not allow the resale of any of the designs.

• The creator is free to dictate the price point for each design. However, we recommend you to price your designs as per your market rates in order to ensure you’re enjoying a healthy flow of design sales.

• Exclusive licensing is when your design is listed on r-directed only for a one-time purchase by a single entity. Once the design has been purchased by an individual, brand or organisation, it becomes unavailable for any other user to purchase.

• Bespoke collaborations are commissioned by r-directed after understanding the client’s design goals. As design matchmakers, we match them with creators whose profiles match with their requirements. You will hear from us as and when there is a suitable project.

• To deactivate your r-directed creator profile, you can write to the merchandiser in touch with you or to our team at community@rdirected.com or get in touch via WhatsApp on +91 80764 37499 stating the reason for request for deactivation.

• As a creator, you are free to promote your designs to shop on r-directed.com via your own social media channels or your own website. However, we recommend you conduct your own research, and understand and evaluate the pros and cons as well as the best practices of each of the social media channels you choose to promote your work on to ensure maximum impact.

• PLEASE NOTE - r-directed does not permit you to sell your designs listed on our website via any other similar marketplaces or commission-based platforms.

• The creator agrees to sell or supply r-directed with high-quality designs suitable for onward sale and/or supply through the website. The creator shall deliver the designs in the format specified by r-directed. The creator represents and warrants that the designs listed on the website are the creator's original work and that the designs are not owned by any third party and that no third party has or will have any objection to the listing of the designs on the website. The creator represents and warrants that the designs do not infringe upon any third party’s designs, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights or any other proprietary rights.

• Only the designs selected by the design approval committee of r-directed will be listed on the website.

• The onus is on the creator to register the copyright on the designs. The creator may choose to (a) obtain copyright registration for a compilation of some designs (in form of a booklet), or (b) obtain copyright registration for certain specific designs.

• r-directed may conduct diligence checks to validate the authenticity and to ascertain whether the designs are copyrighted or not, though such diligence is not mandatory. This will include, but is not limited to, the following:
     •  Check whether copyright registration on the concerned designs have been obtained or not on the IP India portal.(ipindia.gov.in/faq-designs.htm)
     •  Generic Google search can be conducted on the designs to be listed on the website to check if such designs are similar or bear resemblance to other designs.
     •  In case copyright registration/design registration has been obtained by the creator then r-directed may obtain copies of registration certificates of such designs from the creator.

• To create an r-directed buyer profile, select the ‘Sign-up’ option and update your details to complete profile creation.

• To edit/update your r-directed buyer profile, you can find the option to edit/update your profile in the ‘Settings’ option of your account.

• To purchase a surface pattern design via r-directed, simply pick the design of your choice from the pool of designs on our shop, complete the payment at checkout, and the file will be delivered to you via email.

• Exclusive licensing is when your design is listed on r-directed only for a one-time purchase by a single entity. Once the design has been purchased by an individual, brand or organisation, it becomes unavailable for any other user to purchase.

• You can make a purchase on the r-directed shop by using Debit/Credit cards, UPI, EMI, and other common payment methods listed at our checkout.

Relisting or reselling designs purchased on r-directed is not permitted and violates our terms of service. You may, however, resell it in the form of goods, products, commodities, and services you have purchased the design for while adhering to our licensing policies.

• r-directed does not accept cancellations once the order is placed. Since there is no physical product delivery, there is no reason for return or exchange. To read our policies, click here.
